YOU AND YOUR DESCENDENTS
In worldly chaos God finds good.
He reaches out with grace-filled hand
New covenant He makes with man.
Each autumn falling leaf makes place
For flush of other spring leaves, grace
Continues and descendents blessed
By long ago made promise, kept
Through waywardness, war, storm and strife
His word remains, His love gives life.
In chosen people now lies hid
The seed of hope grace to be born.

Remain and I will send again
My Son, new covenant refreshed. |
