Many years ago, in response to a felt need, the Jesuits of the Bombay Province planted a small sapling in the field of education. Like good gardeners, Jesuits laboured to set up institutions wherever and whenever the need arose, without counting the cost. The support of Jesuit friends and benefactors enabled this sapling to grow into a tree bearing rich fruits - fruits in the form of eminent personalities in all walks of life, making a positive contribution to Indian Society. Their name is legion.

Today, the Jesuit educational institutions are renowned for the quality of their education all over the country.

New shoots of this tree were grafted in different parts od rural Maharashtra. Small schools offering primary and gradually secondary education to the poor, tribals, and marginalized emerged. This helped empower them to walk with confidence with their fellow-citizens.

Today these grafted shoots are yearning to be full grown institutions. Their needs in terms of space and infrastructure are also increasing. We, like the pioneering Jesuits, appeal to you, our friends and well-wishers, to join your hands with ours in nurturing the new shoots of the Bombay Jesuit Province.

With your help and support these saplings will grow into robust trees. Young men and women emerging from these institutions will make a difference not only to our country but to this planet.
