So sincere and thought-provoking
Challenged us to reach for the stars.

A priest a mediator and a prophet,
He peered into the future,
One that brought humanity together,
Eschewing horse-whip,
welcoming friendly gestures.

Leaving a material world of trifles,
He's welcomed up and above,
A priest who stood firmly for something,
Not empty platitudes or ceremonial bows
"Euge Serve, bone et fidelis"
Is the entry march he hears,
To the welcome of heavenly trumpets,
His infectious smile will live on for years.
